The Philadelphia Eagles may have received some encouraging news regarding one of their most important defensive players.
Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said Tuesday that the team is “hopeful” that cornerback Quinyon Mitchell will be able to return for Week 5 after suffering a knee injury in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
“We’re hopeful,” Fangio said when asked about Mitchell's chances of playing this week, via Jeff McLane.
