Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Tyler Glasnow is willing to pitch in any role to help his team win. LA has turned to Tarik Skubal, Blake Snell and Yoshinobu Yamamoto so far in the National League Division Series. It does seem as if Glasnow could start Game 4. The right-hander is prepared to pitch in a bullpen role if necessary during the MLB playoffs, however.

“Any time you’re put in a situation, it helps. Each year I’ve been there more and I’ve been a little more comfortable,” Glasnow said of potentially pitching out of the bullpen at some point this postseason, via Dodgers Nation.

Skubal will likely be the Game 5 starter if Game 5 ends up being necessary. It remains to be seen what Glasnow's role would be if the Dodgers advance to the NLCS. Either way, the right-hand hurler is set to make a crucial impact for Los Angeles.

Having Tyler Glasnow on the roster gives the Dodgers an advantage. Many starting pitchers have trouble adjusting to a bullpen role in the postseason. Starting pitchers have strict routines, and shifting to a relief role throws those routines off.

Glasnow, however, often pitched out of the bullpen early in his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Additionally, three of his six 2025 postseason appearances with the Dodgers came as a reliever.

Roki Sasaki is another versatile pitcher on the roster. In fact, he was a relief star last postseason. With Sasaki and Glasnow, the Dodgers are set up from a pitching depth and versatility standpoint.
