Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Zack Baun missed Wednesday's walkthrough with a concussion, putting his availability for Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Rams in question. Baun has four more days to clear the concussion protocol after playing 66 of 72 defensive snaps in Monday night's 27-7 loss to the Chicago Bears.

The short turnaround could make Baun's path back to the field more difficult. He wouldn't have practiced on Wednesday if Philadelphia had held a full practice.

Baun has started all three games he has played for the Eagles in 2026, recording 25 total tackles, four tackles for loss and three pass deflections. The 29-year-old linebacker is in the second season of a three-year, $51 million contract with Philadelphia. He originally entered the NFL after the New Orleans Saints selected him in the third round of the 2020 draft out of Wisconsin.

If Baun cannot clear the protocol, Jeremiah Trotter Jr. would start alongside second-year linebacker Jihaad Campbell. Campbell was a limited participant because of a knee issue, adding another concern to Philadelphia's linebacker group.

The Eagles also had several other players absent from Wednesday's walkthrough. DeVonta Smith (hamstring), Marquise “Hollywood” Brown (ankle), Dallas Goedert (knee), Fred Johnson (knee) and Will Shipley (foot) were listed as out. Brown, Goedert and Johnson also missed the loss to the Bears. Smith played despite missing practice the previous week with a hamstring injury.

Campbell, defensive tackle Jordan Davis (calf) and defensive tackle Moro Ojomo (calf/elbow) were limited. Tank Bigsby (abdomen), Jalen Carter (wrist), Darius Cooper (knee), Jonathan Greenard (pectoral) and Byron Young (toe) were full participants.
