The DP World Tour has drawn a very firm line in the stand.

It was reported on Monday morning that DPWT is officially banning LIV players, whatever that organization and its members looks like, beginning in 2027.

This latest development as matters pertain to the future of LIV is rather significant as the banishment would preclude LIV players from Ryder Cup participation. Previously that was a bit of a loophole that LIV players had been able to exploit.

It goes without saying that LIV is still figuring out what it is going to look like as a whole, and doing so with banishment from the DP World Tour will likely make those matters all the more complicated. Many have claimed that LIV is fully folding, is partly folding, and a number of different things. It seems clear on moving forward, but doing so will now be even more challenging than it already was.
