The Miami Dolphins have avenues they can take to bolster their roster with incredible young talents. Being on pace to have one of the top picks in the 2027 NFL Draft, there is one particular quarterback they might have on the radar, and it may not be Arch Manning.
Miami is going through a rebuild while progressing through Year 1 under head coach Jeff Hafley. While the playoffs is not on the timeline this season, they have potential to return to the fold as long as they land great players with high ceilings.
ClutchPoints revealed a mock draft on the players teams can select throughout Round 1. Miami finds itself at the third spot, getting the projection of selecting Miami Hurricanes quarterback Darian Mensah over Manning.
“There will be a lot of debate on who the best QB in this class is, but you’ll hear the right answer here first. In this 2027 NFL Mock Draft, we have Darian Mensah staying in the same stadium he currently plays in and ending up with the Dolphins. Mensah has everything you want in a pro signal-caller, and with a huge game against Notre Dame coming up and the playoffs to follow, fans will get to see how good he is in winning time, too,” editor Tim Crean wrote.

The Dolphins would have a great long-term option by drafting Darian Mensah. He has led the Hurricanes to a dominant start this season, rightfully earning top projections on draft boards.
