The Los Angeles Dodgers are still searching for answers after recently getting swept by the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLCS. The Dodgers will still have the most talented roster in baseball heading into next season, but there have been questions about major changes that could be on the horizon, including potentially regarding the team's ownership.

Dodgers owner Mark Walter recently shocked the sports world when he sold the Los Angeles Lakers, and fans are understandably wondering if a similar move could be in store for the Dodgers.

“Inquiries for the Dodgers have thus far been rebuffed,” reported Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.

However, Shelburne did report on Walter's potential interest in selling the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks.

“…sources with knowledge of the situation confirm a Bloomberg report that acknowledged there have been early-stage discussions about the Sparks at what would be a similarly massive valuation, estimated at $700 million,” she reported.

Walter's willingness to outspend the competition has been the key factor in Los Angeles' run of success over the last several years, so Dodgers fans will be happy that it doesn't appear a new owner will be in the mix any time soon.

Dodger's sale of the Lakers came amid an FBI probe into his business dealings that has left him seemingly scrambling to liquidate his assets, but for now, it seems that the baseball club will be safe from that fire sale.

Meanwhile, the Dodgers will hope for some better luck on the injury front next year, particularly regarding star Shohei Ohtani, who was largely a shell of himself during the team's playoff run this season.
