How George Kittle, 49ers played against Broncos
George Kittle and the 49ers continue their incredible start to the 2026 season. They remain perfect with a 4-0 record after beating down the Broncos at home.
Both offenses started out slow as the teams were even at three apiece once halftime came around. They picked up the pace in the second half, but San Francisco had the bigger plays after outscoring Denver 21-11 in that stretch.
Brock Purdy took some time to get going, but he ultimately came through with a quality performance. He completed 19 out of 30 passes for 218 yards and two touchdowns while rushing 10 times for 29 yards.
Christian McCaffrey had a decent day in the rushing attack, recording up to 15 carries for 52 yards and a touchdown while catching three passes for 18 yards. Meanwhile, Mike Evans led receivers with five catches for 76 yards.
The 49ers will look forward to their next matchup, being on the road. They take on the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks in Week 5 as kickoff commences on Oct. 11 at 4:25 p.m. ET.
