The Lions are preparing for this week’s game with heavy hearts, as linebacker Jack Campbell remains hospitalized after a spinal injury on Sunday. Lions head coach Dan Campbell says the best way to honor Jack Campbell is to prepare to win, like he always did.
Jack Campbell is known as one of the Lions’ hardest workers and team leaders, and Dan Campbell said all his teammates want to work this week in a way that their leader would be working if he could.
“Jack continues to improve, which is all great news,” Dan Campbell said. “How would he prepare? How would he play? Those are the standards for us going into this game. We owe it to him.”
The Lions know that Jack Campbell would prepare and play as hard as he possibly could, and that’s what they intend to do for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.
