The Dallas Cowboys finally have something to smile about after ending their two-game losing streak with a victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. However, following the win, head coach Brian Schottenheimer's brief press conference raised some questions, but quarterback Dak Prescott quickly put an end to the speculation.
Schottenheimer held his shortest press conference since arriving in Dallas, with the entire session lasting nearly four minutes. However, Prescott revealed that he had seen a “hungry, pissed off version” of Schottenheimer heading into the game. The quarterback then added that the team stands behind its head coach.
“Definitely hungry, pissed off version of Shoddy,” Prescott said. “It's not like he's naive. It's not like he hadn't heard some noise about him. And whether it's the call of the games or whatever doubt that's been out there.
“But we've got his back. He knows that. He's a guy that takes a lot of pride in his job, a lot of pride in his team. And yeah, I mean, everybody handles everything differently. So I don't blame him to an extent. And yeah, we've got his back. More importantly, it's just about us going out there and executing on Sundays.”
The Cowboys desperately needed a response after suffering back-to-back disappointing losses against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers. They capitalized on the opportunity against Philadelphia with a balanced offensive performance and a strong finish to secure the victory.
Prescott played a crucial role in Dallas' win, throwing for 212 yards and three touchdowns without an interception. The victory improved the Cowboys' record to 3-4, while Philadelphia suffered its fifth consecutive losses, falling to 2-5.

The Cowboys are now preparing to face the Arizona Cardinals in their upcoming game.
