Dak Prescott had plenty to celebrate after the Dallas Cowboys’ emphatic 38-21 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. The quarterback, though, made sure his offensive line received its share of the spotlight. He arrived at his postgame press conference in a white graphic T-shirt emblazoned with the message “LINEMEN LEAD THE WAY.” The wardrobe choice reflected a simple truth behind Dallas’ statement win: its dominance began in the trenches.

The Cowboys’ offensive line paved the way for a punishing ground attack that produced 204 rushing yards. Javonte Williams led the charge with a career-high 155 yards and a touchdown. He repeatedly exploited the running lanes created by Dallas’ front. With Tyler Smith, Cooper Beebe, and Tyler Booker helping establish control up front, the Cowboys found the physical identity they had struggled to maintain during their uneven start.

Prescott also benefited from the improved protection. He threw three touchdown passes, connected twice with CeeDee Lamb, and once with George Pickens. Prescott finished with a 118.1 passer rating and no turnovers. After the game, Prescott reinforced the message behind his shirt. He reiterated that “linemen lead the way.”

The performance was especially important for Prescott. His 2026 season has included frustrating losses to the Giants, Ravens, Buccaneers, and Packers. Through seven games, he has thrown for more than 1,850 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Monday’s victory improved the Cowboys to 3-4 and put them back in the NFC East conversation. Prescott’s shirt was a reminder that Dallas’ offensive ceiling depends on winning up front. If the line sustains this level of play, the Cowboys could become a far more dangerous team down the stretch.
