Dak Prescott was visibly frustrated after the Dallas Cowboys suffered a heartbreaking 33-30 overtime loss against the Arizona Cardinals at AT&T Stadium on Sunday. Despite the disappointing result, the Dallas quarterback made sure fans and media didn't turn the postgame discussion into another round of criticism aimed at head coach Brian Schottenheimer.

During the postgame press conference, Prescott had a blunt reply when he was asked about the growing criticism surrounding the Cowboys coach and how fans were reacting to the team's disappointing performance.

“It’s all of us,” Prescott said. “Don’t put the blame on one person. I think that’s weak. I think that’s cowardly.”

The Cardinals entered the Week 8 matchup hoping to turn their season around, but the Cowboys initially appeared to have everything under control. Dallas established an early advantage and looked comfortable heading into the second half.

However, the momentum shifted dramatically after quarterback Gardner Minshew replaced Jacoby Brissett in the third quarter. The decision was a turning point in the game, as Minshew immediately injected energy into Arizona's offense and helped the Cardinals overcome a two-touchdown deficit to force overtime and eventually secure the victory.

Prescott did not hide his disappointment when reflecting on the frustrating loss.

“It’s disappointing, and it sucks. One of the toughest I've been a part of. Yeah, no words for it, really, other than that: really disappointing, frustrating. We had a chance to win it, and should’ve won it,” he said.

The Cowboys' collapse was particularly damaging given the historical significance of the result. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Dallas' 14-point fourth-quarter lead matched the largest blown fourth-quarter advantage in a loss in franchise history.

For Dallas, Prescott completed 19 of 29 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown while adding a rushing score. However, his performance wasn't enough to prevent another disappointing result for the Cowboys.

The defeat leaves Dallas at 3-5, while Arizona also improves to 3-5 following its comeback victory.
