Cowboys cornerback Joey Porter Jr. participated fully in Thursday’s practice, and he expects to have no limitations for Sunday’s game against the Packers.

“That’s what I’m shooting for. That’s what they’re shooting for as well,” Porter told Patrik Walker of the team website. “So that’s what we’re gonna try to do.”

Porter was inactive at the start of the season with the Steelers after not getting the expected long-term contract extension. He played 25 snaps in his debut with the Cowboys in Week 4, but missed the Week 5 game last Thursday night after coming down with an illness on game day.

“I really just couldn’t hold anything down,” Porter told Walker. “You know, I just kept throwing up. I try to fight through. I tried to take a nap before the game, just to shake it off, but I just couldn’t hold in deep down. So that’s when they made the call to send me home.”

Porter was limited in Wednesday’s practice with an ankle injury that he injured during the Cowboys’ victory over the Texans in Week 4.

Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown (hamstring) and cornerback Ameer Speed (knee) returned to limited work in Thursday’s practice after sitting out Wednesday. Outside linebacker Von Miller was the only other change to the injury report, returning to a full practice after a rest day.

Cornerback Cobie Durant (hamstring) and offensive tackle Drew Shelton (hamstring) remained out of practice.

Safety Alijah Clark (hamstring), outside linebacker James Houston (shoulder), cornerback Shavon Revel Jr. (knee) and left guard Tyler Smith (thumb) were again full participants.
