The Commanders' passing game got good news on Jayden Daniels, but will have to make due without him vs. Indianapolis in Week 4. Wide receiver Terry McLaurin has had a brutal start to the season, including an injury that has recently popped up.

NFL reporter Tom Pelissero had news about the situation and it looks like a big challenge for the Commanders wideout.

“Commanders WR Terry McLaurin had a hamstring issue pop up in practice today and now is questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts in London,” Pelissero wrote.

The Commanders' offense has the luxury of starting Marcus Mariota at quarterback until Daniels is ready to go. Daniels has been ruled out for Week 4 but could return in Week 5 if he ramps up his injury recovery from a left elbow dislocation.

McLaurin led the Commanders in receiving during their Week 3 upset victory over the Seattle Seahawks at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. The former Ohio State Buckeyes star had six catches for 77 yards and a touchdown, helping out Mariota in the process.

Mariota completed 19-of-31 passes for 183 yards and three touchdowns giving coach Dan Quinn and his staff plenty to look forward to even with Daniels watching from the sidelines and still rehabbing his injury.

The Colts beat the Houston Texans 19-17 in Week 3 suggesting Shane Steichen's team is ready to contend for a playoff spot again. If McLaurin can't go, the Commanders may have to rely more on their running game, including the scrambling abilities of Mariota which were mostly held back in Week 3.
