Miami (Ohio) was less than two minutes away from upsetting Cincinnati and ringing the Victory Bell, but it took a Stanford transfer and a legacy player to ensure that the Bearcats would complete a huge comeback and win the latest iteration of this nearly 138-year-old rivalry.

Cole Tabb broke loose for a 53-yard touchdown on third-and-1, launching Cincy to a 35-31 lead with just 1:29 left in the game. Antwan Peek Jr., son of former NFL linebacker and program great Antwan Peek Sr., clinched the victory with a forced fumble on his team's 34-yard line. The Bearcats overcame a 28-7 halftime deficit and have now conquered the RedHawks in 18 of their last 19 meetings.
