Christian Pulisic is close to signing a contract extension with AC Milan that would keep him at the Italian club until June 2031, according to ESPN. The 28-year-old American forward has reportedly reached an agreement in principle on a four-year extension, with an official announcement expected in the coming days.
Pulisic's current contract is scheduled to expire in June 2027, leaving his long-term future at San Siro uncertain until the latest development. The proposed agreement would extend his stay by four years, keeping him with Milan until he turns 32. His new deal could reportedly include a salary increase to approximately €5 million net per season, plus performance-related bonuses, compared with his current reported earnings of around €4 million annually.
Since joining Milan from Chelsea in 2023 for approximately €22 million, Pulisic has recorded 44 goals and 28 assists in 141 appearances across competitions. He was also the club's leading scorer during the 2024-25 season.
His performances in Italy have helped revive his career after injuries and inconsistent opportunities affected his final seasons at Chelsea. At Milan, he has featured both on the wing and in the No. 10 position. Although a World Cup injury disrupted his preseason preparations, he returned to the first team and quickly reestablished his place in the lineup.

Chelsea subsequently signed him in 2018 for £58 million, and he won the Champions League with the English side in 2021.
Pulisic has also remained an essential figure for the United States men's national team. He has scored 33 goals in 90 international appearances and represented the USMNT at the 2022 and 2026 World Cups. He was named US Soccer Male Player of the Year in 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2023.
