The Kansas City Chiefs were able to take care of business against the Denver Broncos at the beginning of the season, and they'll be looking to do the same thing in Week 8. Things could be a little different this time, as the Chiefs had been dealing with some injuries during the week, one of which happened to be Travis Kelce.
Kelce had been nursing an ankle injury this week, and he was a limited participant in practice on Thursday. The good news is that he was a full participant on Wednesday and Friday, which was good news for his status against the Broncos.
It doesn't seem as if there's anything to worry about regarding Kelce, as he doesn't have an injury designation ahead of the game.
Kelce is still making an impact on the field, and though they lost to the Seattle Seahawks last week, he finished with 44 yards. That's about the amount of yards that he's averaging this season, which isn't bad for him. In their first matchup against the Broncos this season, Kelce finished with 71 yards. The hope is that he can have that same production this time around, especially as they face one of the best defenses in the league.

“The Kansas City Chiefs, to my understanding, have been working the phones for weeks here trying to get a wide receiver for Patrick Mahomes. Is that Brian Thomas Jr.? Is that Josh Downs? They've been kind of weighing their options. (Chiefs General Manager) Brett Veach has done this before. We'll see if he can do it again before the deadline,” Palmer said.
