CeeDee Lamb makes thoughts extremely clear on Cowboys when offense underperforms

CeeDee Lamb got brutally honest about the Dallas Cowboys' underwhelming results on the offensive side of the ball halfway through the 2026 NFL season.

Lamb has been playing in the league since 2020, going through his seventh season with the Cowboys. He shines as one of the best wide receivers in the entire league, torching defenders with his speed and catching talents.

Dallas thought this season to be a promising one, especially with the offense it boasts. With Dak Prescott at quarterback, they have Javonte Williams leading the run game while Lamb and George Pickens stand out as elite stars in the receiving corps.

However, the Cowboys' start to the season has been tough. They have lost a majority of their games, and when it comes to the matchups they could have won, they suffered lapses down the stretch that resulted in them collapsing in disappointing fashion.

Lamb reflected on the team's struggles with media on Thursday, per reporter Jon Machota. He didn't mince words, stating an expletive while showing his frustration towards recent results.

“We stop ourselves. That sh*t is frustrating. It’s annoying. I hate it,” Lamb said.

What lies ahead for CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys

The Cowboys definitely have a ceiling for the playoffs with the talent they have, including CeeDee Lamb. However, they must resolve their issues and make big plays in critical moments to get back on the right track.

Lamb has enjoyed a relatively healthy start to the season. He has caught 60 passes for 709 yards and six touchdowns so far.

Dallas has a 3-5 record this season, sitting at second place in the NFC East Division standings. They are above the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles while trailing the New York Giants. In terms of the conference standings, they are 13th place. They lead over the Commanders and the New Orleans Saints while being under the Arizona Cardinals and the Atlanta Falcons. The Cowboys will continue preparations for their upcoming matchup this weekend, being on the road. They take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9 as kickoff commences on Nov. 8 at 1 p.m. ET.
