The Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder are set to face each other for the second time in three days. It was the Thunder who took the last matchup, as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's late-game heroics pushed his team past the Cavs. That might be the story for most of the Thunder's season, with all of the injuries they're dealing with just a few weeks into the year.
The Cavs are also dealing with injuries to their key players, as Peyton Watson missed the previous game with right hamstring soreness. As for the Thunder, they didn't have Alex Caruso in their first matchup against the Cavs, and it'll be interesting to see if he suits up this time around.
Here is Caruso and Watson's status ahead of the game.

Alex Caruso's injury status vs. Cavs
Caruso is not listed on the injury report for the Thunder, which means he's good to go for the second matchup against the Cavs. That's good news, as the Thunder are already missing some of their key defenders, and Caruso will be looked upon a lot for the remainder of the season. He'll also be needed on offense, with the Thunder missing a few players who provided in that area.
Article Continues BelowJaylin Williams is on the injury report as he has low back spasms, and it'll be interesting to see if he's able to suit up.
Peyton Watson's injury status vs. Thunder
Watson is listed as out for the matchup, which will make it two games in a row that he's missed. With Watson out, Maleek Thomas was inserted into the starting lineup, and he finished their last game with 17 points and five rebounds. It's good to know they have somebody who can fill his void, but they're also hoping they can get Watson back sooner rather than later.
