The Arizona Cardinals lost Paris Johnson Jr. for the season after he sustained a torn left bicep in the 36-24 Week 4 loss to the New York Giants. With the club needing help at left tackle, the franchise managed to steal a former first-round pick away from the Buffalo Bills to potentially help fill the void.
Reports indicate that the Cardinals are signing Jedrick Wills from the Bills' practice squad, according to Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Wills may get another chance to prove himself in the NFL on a team in desperate need of help on the offensive line.
“The Cardinals are signing OT Jedrick Wills off the Bills' practice squad, sources tell me and [Ian Rapoport],” Garafolo said on X. “The 10th overall pick in 2020 heads to Arizona after the team lost LT Paris Johnson Jr. for the season. [Sal Capaccio of WGR550] reported Wills was signing elsewhere. AZ it is.”
