The Arizona Cardinals remained winless at home after losing to the Denver Broncos, 30-16, on Sunday. The Cardinals fell to 2-5, including 0-3 at State Farm Stadium.

Arizona has now lost 10 straight games at home, dating back to last season.

Jacoby Brissett went 27-of-48 for 272 yards and one touchdown. He also had seven carries for 16 yards. Despite their mediocre campaign, coach Mike LaFleur maintained that they will continue to run with Brissett despite the availability of Carson Beck, whom Arizona drafted with the No. 65 pick in April.

When asked if Brissett will remain as the starter, LaFleur's gave an extensive answer.

“Yes,” said the first-year coach in the video posted by PHNX Cardinals.

Beck, who led Miami to the National Championship Game in January, has yet to make his debut with the Cardinals. He is behind Gardner Minshew II in the depth chart.

Fans had mixed reactions to LaFleur's continued trust in Brissett, who has thrown for 1,600 yards, 10 touchdowns, and six interceptions in seven games.

“He's 3-16 as the Cardinals' starting quarterback. Obviously, you keep playing him,” said @Trubb91.

“I'm full-conspiracy (mode) that somebody is telling him Jacoby has to stay, bro,” added @ClarKent_.

“He looks pissed. Like maybe it's not his choice,” echoed @t_arnpreeest.

“I was excited for LaFleur, but now he can leave with JB,” posted @ZDS_.

“Can't wait to see who the HC is next year. This guy just doesn't have the ability to make winning decisions,” commented @ArizonaCoug1.

The Cardinals signed LaFleur to a five-year contract in the offseason. The amount was not publicly disclosed.

Arizona will visit the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8.
