When news broke that Marvin Harrison Jr. was being held out of Week 5 action before being traded to the Houston Texans, it created serious questions for the Arizona Cardinals.

Initially drafted fifth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Ohio State, things never really clicked between Arizona and the second-generation Marvin Harrison, with the disconnect going all the way back to the organization's refusal to buy a $50,000 Seeker machine so he could continue to work on his craft.

“Decisions like this are never easy,” Cardinals GM Ossenfort said via The Ringer's Tom Pelissero. “Ultimately, we have to do what is best for our football team, and that will always be the driving factor. We are extremely grateful to Marvin for what he has contributed to our organization and wish him the very best as he moves forward in his career.”
