Next week, the Chicago Bulls will begin training camp. It will be their first camp with Caleb Wilson and Dailyn Swain. Wilson was the No.4 pick in the NBA Draft. Meanwhile, Swain was the No.15 pick.

As they prepare for their first season, they got a taste of Chicago royalty when they met Derrick Rose. During practice, Rose showed up and engaged with them. As one could imagine, they were both taken aback by being in Rose's presence.

Rose was providing words of encouragement to both of them. He expressed the importance of sacrifice.

“Make sure you give your all,” Rose said. “Sacrifice something. It's a whole other step, new.”

Swain spoke about what it was like to be with a man he grew up admiring.

“D Rose is a legend,” Swain said. “Everybody knows that. I mean, I grew up watching the mixtape of Derrick Rose. I used to watch that so many times as a kid. So to be able to meet him after his playing career, it was crazy.”

Rose played for the Bulls from 2008 to 2016. He was the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2009 and NBA MVP in 2011. In January, Rose had his jersey retired alongside Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Jerry Sloan, and Bob Love.

As for Wilson and Swain, both are set to help usher in a new era of success in Chicago. Wilson is a Rookie of the Year favorite.

Wilson hails from the University of North Carolina, whereas Swain comes from the University of Texas.
