Caleb Williams returned to practice for the Bears this week, but the quarterback’s return to game action will have to wait at least one more week.

The Bears listed Williams as questionable, but the expectation was always that Williams would miss Sunday’s game against the Packers because of his hamstring injury and the team confirmed it by listing him as inactive on Sunday morning.

Unless Ben Johnson opts for a repeat of the creativity he showed last week, Tyson Bagent is set to start against Green Bay. Bagent was 25-of-34 for 268 yards and an interception in last Sunday’s win over the Jets.

If Williams returns in Week 6, he’ll face the Falcons in his first game back.
