Pass rushers Jonathan Cooper and Nik Bonitto collapsed the pocket first. Then Roach penetrated past the Chiefs' protection and grabbed Mahomes' gameday attire. Mahomes fell bottom first on the fourth and goal try, culminating in Denver's 28-24 home win Sunday.
Mahomes even attempted a desperation pass that fell into the hands of one of his offensive linemen. But the ball never crossed the goal line, and Mahomes was ruled down anyway for the sack.
