The Denver Broncos will be without one of their emerging wide receivers for at least the next four games after making a roster decision ahead of their Week 5 matchup. Pat Bryant is heading to injured reserve after suffering an ankle injury against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, giving Denver's offense another obstacle to overcome as it looks to find consistency.
According to ESPN's Ian Rapoport, the Broncos are placing Bryant on short-term injured reserve. The young wideout will miss the next four games and could return as soon as Denver's Nov. 8 matchup against the Carolina Panthers, provided he is healthy enough to get back on the field.
