The Green Bay Packers invited a special guest to their Thursday Night Football contest. This one coming all the way from their stop in Tampa Bay: The World Series champion Milwaukee Brewers.

In a span of 24 hours, the likes of manager Pat Murphy, William Contreras and Christian Yelich joined the rest of the champs in igniting the Lambeau Field crowd. And the 2026 WS title holders were greeted with rabid cheers.

Milwaukee handled the Rays with a 4-1 victory on Wednesday that, ironically, handed the Brewers the series win at 4-1. The Brewers officially touched back down in Wisconsin nearly two hours prior to the kickoff of the Packers versus the Panthers.

So their celebration has now stretched to the Packers' home.

Milwaukee drew praise from more than Packer fans. Notable celebrities handed the Brewers their roses in capturing the franchise's first-ever WS title. ESPN and Amazon Prime analyst Kirk Herbstreit rose as one celebrating the win, which he shared on The Pat McAfee Show.

“I tip my cap to this baseball team and you've gotta appreciate how they play the game,” Herbstreit said. “Skipper Murphy is the kind of guy that you wanna play for.”

Milwaukee soon has a victory parade to celebrate. The Brewers are scheduled to have their parade on Friday in front of fans. Once again the franchise is celebrating their first-ever WS win. But the city hasn't won a baseball championship since the Braves brought a title back in 1957.
