In this Brawl Stars Sprout guide, we'll take a look at its attacks, stats, and skills and create the best build possible. Sprout is a thrower who can manipulate where its attacks land with careful aiming. Without further ado, let's take a look at Sprout.

Brawl Stars Sprout Guide – Attacks & Stats Per Level

Firstly, Sprout's main attack, Seed Bomb, is a ranged attack in which it throws a ball of seeds that either damages an enemy on impact, or bounces around briefly before exploding. Should the bomb bounce off a wall, the attack gains increased range (similar to Rico's attack).

Secondly, Sprout's Super, Hedge, is another throwable move that creates a temporary vine barrier that provides extra cover. The wall can be destroyed by wall-breaking moves (like Brock's Super) and invulnerability shields when spawning in. More than one barrier can be spawned at a time and they will be destroyed when a match reaches over time.

Additionally, Sprout's Hypercharge, Thorns, lets its Super damage nearby enemies for every second they make contact with it.

Lastly, let's look at Sprout's Stats (stats of October 2026, all stats subject to change):

Brawl Stars Sprout Guide – Which Star Powers & Gadgets are the best?

Overall, Sprout has two gadgets:

  • Garden Mulcher – “Sprout consumes a bush to restore health.”
  • Transplant – “Sprout destroys its current Hedge, but will instantly have its Super fully charged again.”

Additionally, Sprout has two Star Powers:

  • Overgrowth – “Every few seconds, the next Seed Bomb will explode with a larger explosion radius.”
  • Photosynthesis – “Sprout activates a shield, partially protecting itself from all attacks while inside a bush.”

Furthermore, Sprout can use the following gears in battle:

  • Speed
  • Vision
  • Health
  • Shield
  • Damage
  • Gadget Cooldown

*We are not including any Epic or Mythic Gears in any of these guides.

Brawl Stars Sprout Guide – Recommended Star Power, Gadget, & Gear Setup

Firstly, for Gadgets, we really enjoy Transplant. If used right, It essentially allows Sprout to have two full Super uses without having to charge one up manually. Sprout's Super is extremely useful for boxing in brawlers, providing cover, and even keeping enemies from the objectives. Having access to Sprout's Super makes life a bit easier.

Secondly, for Star Powers, I personally prefer Overgrowth. Photosynthesis only works well in bushy maps, and a low-DPS brawler like Sprout might not thrive in bush-filled maps. Overgrowth, on the other hand, always works on every map, and makes it easy to get that first hit off in any interaction.

Lastly, for Gears, we like the Shield and Damage Gear. We always recommend these gears for most brawlers because they tend to help in any situation. It never hurts to have extra health and deal extra damage.

Brawl Stars – Which Modes Should You Use Sprout in (And Which Modes You Shouldn't)

Knockout

Sprout's Super is extremely clutch in Knockout. It can use its Super to box an enemy out of the center while they continue to rain Seed Bombs on them. As the map begins to close in with the poison gas, Sprout's enemy may be unable to avoid taking damage, giving your brawler an advantage. Just watch out for assassins who can jump over your walls.

Duo/Trio Showdown

By itself, Sprout may struggle in Solo Showdown. But put it in a good team comp and you may be surprised with what it can do. Firstly, it's long-range attack and bounciness of the attack makes it easier to attack enemies from a distance. Furthermore, it's attack deals splash damage, allowing the attack to break multiple boxes at once. Lastly, its Super can keep enemies away from the middle or other boxes.

Brawl Stars Sprout Guide – What Mode(s) Should I NOT Use Sprout In?

Heist

Overall, Sprout struggles in Heist because its a low DPS brawler. It just does not deal enough damage to really make a dent on the safe in short time. However, its Super may be useful in protecting the Safe for a limited time. However, we just recommend rolling out with someone else.

Bounty/Wipeout

Sprout works well in Knockout because the map closes in over time. However, that is not the case with Bounty/Wipeout. Sprout may struggle against long-range brawlers like Piper who will not be forced to move to the center. But the long-range of its bouncy attack may become useful if there's plenty of walls.

Overall, that wraps up our Brawl Stars Sprout Guide!
