With the Baltimore Ravens playing the Buffalo Bills on Sunday in a big AFC matchup, the fanbase is awaiting official confirmation of the return of star quarterback Lamar Jackson. As the injury return of Jackson to the Ravens is highly anticipated, the latest update could signal Sunday to be the day every fan is waiting for.

According to Jamison Henley of ESPN, Jackson would practice Friday, which signals that “all the signs” are pointing to the quarterback making his return on Sunday against the Bills. Jackson has missed the last three games, as he was dealing with a high ankle sprain, with Tyler Huntley being the fill-in.

“Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is practicing Friday,” Henley wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “All the signs point to Jackson returning for Sunday’s game at the Bills after missing the past three weeks with a high ankle sprain. Jackson was a full participant in Wednesday’s and Thursday’s practices.”

With Jackson being a full participant in practice, as Henley pointed out, it seems like it's highly expected for him to come back, as so far this season with Baltimore, the 29-year-old has thrown for 967 yards with six touchdowns and one interception. Plus, Jackson has rushed for 144 yards and a score.

Lamar Jackson had been “on track” to return for the Ravens

Jackson's return to the Ravens for Sunday's game against the Bills was expected, as CBS Sports insider Matt Zenitz reported Thursday that the star is “on track to being able to return” for the contest.

“Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has missed the last three games with a high ankle sprain, is on track to being able to return this week and play Sunday vs. the #Bills, sources tell [CBS Sports],” Zenitz wrote on X. “Not only was a full participant in practice yesterday but also handled all of the first-team QB work. A good sign regarding his status heading into this weekend.”

At any rate, there's no doubt that Jackson and Baltimore facing Josh Allen and the Bills will be a top matchup of the week on Sunday, as the Ravens are 4-3.
