If you need fantasy football advice, check this out. ClutchPoints has it covered. And if you need the full boat for defenses in Week 8, here’s the path. However, if you only want to check out the best NFL streaming defenses, this is the best place to visit for last-minute options.

At the top of the list overall this week, the Jaguars, Steelers, and Rams are among the best bets. But those teams are likely already on somebody’s roster in your league. Who could you skate by with this week?

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Titans

It’s a clear-cut pick. The Bengals have been playing better than expected this season. And they have a great matchup this week, according to Fantasy Pros.

“Through six games, Cincinnati has forced nine turnovers and racked up 21 sacks,” Pat Fitzmaurice wrote. “Week 8 brings an appealing matchup with QB Cam Ward and the Titans. Tennessee is averaging 15.4 and 248.6 yards of offense per game. Ward has thrown an interception in five straight games. The Bengals are the top streaming defense of Week 8.”

One of the reasons the Bengals have soared in 2026 is the addition of Dexter Lawrence to the middle of their defensive line. The Bengals got him for the No. 10 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft. And the Bengals believe they got a difference-maker, according to Bengals.com via Heavy.com.

“I don’t think there’s very often that a player like Dex becomes available,” Burrow said. “Obviously it’s worked out great for us, and we couldn’t be happier with it,” he said.

How big has the impact been? Check out this fantasy football relevance, according to a post on X by Pro Football Focus.

“Season-by-season sack total for Bengals through 6 games:

2020 — 10
2021 — 14
2022 — 9
2023 — 19
2024 — 8
2025 — 11
2026 — 21*

*tied for 1st in NFL”

That says a lot. Grab the Bengals as a streamer, and consider keeping them for a while.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Cardinals

How brave can you be? The Cowboys rank No. 29 in the NFL in yards allowed. They are dead last against the run, giving up 145,7 yards per game. And they are No. 25 in points allowed.

Furthermore, they are No. 30 in the league with only four takeaways all season. Plus, the Cardinals have turned the ball over only six times all year, with six interceptions and zero fumbles lost.

Given all of these stats, why would you choose the Cowboys? ESPN says it comes down to opportunity for Week 8.

“The narrative on the Dallas defense hasn't been great this season, but there aren't many quality streaming options in Week 8,” Matt Bowen wrote. “Plus, this Cowboys unit has multiple sacks and an interception in back-to-back games. So, I'll take it versus a Cardinals offense ranking in the bottom 10 in both scoring and yards per game.”

Another thing to consider is Jacoby Brissett. He’s on pace for a career high in interceptions, as he has already chucked six to the opponents this season in 282 passing attempts. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Cowboys get their mitts on a pair of picks in this matchup.

Plus, the Cowboys defense has talent. It absolutely does. Using them as a streaming defense is betting on the talent.

Big plays are on the board for this matchup. If the Cowboys can cash one of them in, they will have lived up to their streaming value.

Washington Commanders vs. Eagles

OK, I get it. We go from the lowly Cowboys to the equally lowly Commanders. But again, it’s about the matchup.

The Eagles only looked good on offense against the Cowboys in Week 7 when Saquon Barkley was on the field. But that wasn’t often. And Barkley didn’t practice Thursday. If he’s out, the Eagles are in trouble.

Also, DeVonta Smith didn’t practice Thursday. The Eagles could be a full no-go without those two stars.

Plus, quarterback Tanner McKee simply didn’t look good against the Cowboys. For all of the bold talk about him, he missed several high school-level easy throws. How bad is it for McKee? Check this out from Fantasy Pros.

“Among 40 qualifying passers, he is bottom of the barrel, ranking 39th in yards per attempt, passing success rate, and catchable target rate,” Fitzmaurice wrote. “McKee couldn't take advantage of a struggling Dallas secondary last week, so I have zero faith that he'll be able to do much against Washington this week.”

The Commanders’ defense could have their best game of the season this week. And maybe it’s their last good game of the season because they’ve already played the Eagles once.

Plus, the Commanders are coming off a good second half against the 49ers, according to The Washington Post.

“Washington pressured quarterback Brock Purdy on 50 percent of his dropbacks Oct. 19 in Santa Clara, California — the team’s highest rate in any half this season, according to the analytics platform TruMedia,” Tashan Reed wrote. “The Commanders also sacked him twice and gave up just 3.7 yards per carry.”

Nice. And how much better are the 49ers than the Eagles? Light years. There’s a real possibility of a good effort from the Commanders’ defense this week.
