Trade rumors have swirled around Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker in recent days, with the November 10 deadline right around the corner. While nothing has come to fruition yet, media members at least had the opportunity to pick Baker's brain on the subject. However, things got weird on Friday when he gave a serious response while already dressed for Halloween.
The 30-year-old was wearing a creepy black-and-white clown mask with an unfortunate smile when he was asked for his thoughts regarding the trade rumors, according to Bo Brack of PHNX Sports. Baker claimed he is simply looking forward to practice and is maintaining his focus on the Cardinals' upcoming game against the Dallas Cowboys.
“I just live in the present,” Baker said with his Halloween mask on. “Like, today. Having a great time with [the media] and gonna have a great practice. Just focus on playing against the Dallas Cowboys and trying to get a W at their stadium.”

Budda Baker is in his 10th season in the NFL, all of which have been with the Cardinals. With the club sitting at 2-5 on the season and the trade deadline right around the corner, the organization has been linked to some rumors. Considering Baker's age, there is some speculation that the front office may elect to trade away the eight-time Pro Bowler for future assets.
Baker has played seven games so far this season, and appears on track to play an eighth in Week 8. The two-time First-Team All-Pro enters the game against the Cowboys with 44 combined tackles (25 solo), 3.5 sacks (career-high), and one interception.
