Atlanta Braves superstar Ronald Acuna Jr. made postseason history Wednesday with two stolen bases in the first inning of Game 2 against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Manager Walt Weiss moved Acuna back into the leadoff spot, and the 2023 National League MVP immediately created pressure. He drew a walk from Cristopher Sanchez, stole second and then took third when Phillies third baseman Edmundo Sosa failed to cover the bag. Matt Olson later singled him home to tie the game 1-1. MLB.com's Sarah Langs highlighted the milestone on X, formerly Twitter, noting the Braves slugger joined a rare postseason group.
