Bo Nix dismisses the numbers.

The Broncos’ quarterback seemingly has had a pedestrian season so far. His numbers are down from 2025 in completion percentage (64.3 to 59.9), yards per attempt (6.4 to 5.8) and passer rating (87.8 to 80.8). The Broncos rank 30th in total offense after being 10th last season.

Nix, though, doesn’t see it that way.

“Playing good and playing bad, it’s a narrative, and I think it’s honestly kind of something we make up,” Nix said after Tuesday’s practice, via Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette. “I don’t think necessarily I’m playing any different than what I’m normally playing.”

Nix was only 16-of-27 for 123 yards with a touchdown in Sunday’s 23-17 win over the Chargers. He had only one completion longer than 16 yards.

Nix, though, looks at the positive.

“We’re sitting here at 3-2 and having a good start to our season,” Nix said. “There’s things we want to clean up. There’s things we want to fix. We’re leaving some things out there on the field but we’re finding ways to win like we did last year [during a 14-3 season]. I feel strongly that we’re going to continue to do that.”
