The Buffalo Bills survived the Los Angeles Rams in overtime, 37-34, at SoFi Stadium on Monday. It was a notable win, showcasing the Bills' poise and resolve. But for Dion Dawkins, it was extra memorable.

Dawkins went up against a familiar foe in Aaron Donald, who came out of retirement to return to the Rams. They have had their fair share of intense face-offs, but the mutual respect has remained.

On “The Ariel Helwani Show,” the 32-year-old Dawkins revealed that he had a brief chat with the 35-year-old Donald.

“I asked him, ‘Bro, how does your body feel after not taking all of these hits?’ He was basically saying it takes repetition. With primetime games and commercials, you have a long time to talk to your opponent,” said the veteran offensive tackle.

While Donald may have lost a step after his long hiatus, Dawkins only had good things to say about the three-time Defensive Player of the Year.

“Great dude. Superhero, man. Superhero. He's still him, bro. He still flashes, and he still has quick hands and a quick switch. He's still superhuman, obviously, and that violent rage that AD has is definitely there, like we see with the face mask pulls and fighting. It's an aggressive world,” added Dawkins.

Dion Dawkins says Aaron Donald hasn't lost a step after going up against him last night on MNF:
