The Cleveland Guardians looked more comfortable on the road this year, and their American League Division Series comeback versus the Chicago White Sox seemed to support that notion. A 41-40 record at Progressive Field during the regular season does not exactly scream home-field advantage. Even so, Stephen Vogt and his team are grateful to have Forest City behind them in Game 3 of the AL Championship Series, especially after stealing Game 1 from the Tampa Bay Rays.

“We feel great,” the two-time reigning AL Manager of the Year told the media after Tuesday's 3-1 loss in Tropicana Field. “Obviously, we would've loved to have taken tonight. That would have been really big, and we had our opportunities to do that, but going home 1-1 to have three games in front of our fans in Cleveland, we feel really good about that. And we're excited to get it going.”

Despite the Guard's lackluster results in Cleveland, one can see how invigorating a night in Progressive Field can be. A boisterous and endlessly passionate crowd helped propel Gavin Williams and company to a do-or-die Game 5 victory over Chicago. Even more support may be needed to topple the No. 1 seed in the AL.
