The Portland Trail Blazers could be without guard Scoot Henderson when they conclude their two-game road trip against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
Portland (2-0) listed Henderson as questionable with left ankle soreness on its latest injury report ahead of Tuesday's matchup against the unbeaten Lakers (3-0) at 8 p.m. PT on NBC and Peacock.
The 22-year-old guard is averaging 9.5 points, 1.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds through two games in his fourth NBA season. Henderson is shooting 38.1% from the field and 11.1% from 3-point range while averaging 20 minutes per contest.
During Portland's 128-120 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Friday, Henderson struggled offensively, finishing with four points, two assists and one rebound in 21 minutes. He shot 1-for-7 from the field and missed all three of his 3-point attempts while converting both free throws.
His potential absence would further limit Portland's backcourt depth against a Lakers team looking to extend its undefeated start.
Trail Blazers, Lakers dealing with multiple injuries ahead of matchup
Henderson is one of several players listed on Portland's injury report. Center Branden Carlson is also questionable as he remains in concussion protocol.
Meanwhile, guard Shaedon Sharpe remains sidelined following right meniscus surgery, leaving the Trail Blazers without another important contributor.
Jayson Kent, John Tonje and Chris Youngblood have also been ruled out because of their two-way G League assignments.

However, center Walker Kessler is available despite wearing a splint on his left finger, providing the Lakers with additional frontcourt depth against Portland.
The Trail Blazers will look to remain undefeated and complete their road trip with another victory before returning home. Meanwhile, the Lakers will attempt to improve to 4-0 and maintain their strong start to the 2026-27 NBA season.
Henderson's availability will be worth monitoring as Tuesday night's tipoff approaches.
