Blake Griffin is heading to late-night television.

The former NBA star will be hosting a weekly sports talk show called The Stepback with Blake Griffin. In the clip shared on Tuesday, Oct. 13, words flash across the screen reading, “He doesn't want applause, money, or new friends. He wants to talk.”

After showing glimpses of The Stepback, including a woman fanning herself and Griffin behind the anchor desk getting money poured on him, it shows the theme of the new show: to sit down and talk about the “biggest issues in sports.” A few of the topics that were shown on screen include: cheating, sports journalism, NIL, weed, analytics, the business of youth sports, and more.

It then showed more of a comical representation of what the show will be about, where Griffin will be “asking the questions insiders won't,” with him jokingly bringing up the topic of “how can make impress woman with nice car if woman already have nice car” in a caveman-like cadence.
