Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals stopped their two-game skid after disposing of the Miami Dolphins, 31-24, at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. They improved to 3-2 and kept the Dolphins winless.

The Bengals held on to the win after getting outscored by the Dolphins, 14-3, in the fourth quarter. Miami pulled within seven points with 45 seconds left after Malik Willis scored on a one-yard punch. Riley Patterson muffed the extra point, and the ensuing onside kick went out of bounds to end the game.

Burrow went 23-of-32 for 190 yards and four touchdowns, one each to Ja'Marr Chase, Tanner Hudson, Samaje Perine, and Mike Gesicki.

Coach Zac Taylor, however, was far from satisfied with their victory, admitting that they did “a lot of frustrating things.”

“We had two personal fouls. We fumbled twice in the red zone. We caught a kickoff on the four-yard line. We had a penalty on a field goal that led to a touchdown. Gave them four points. Gave up over 200 yards rushing. So, plenty, plenty to clean up,” said Taylor in the video posted by ESPN 1530's Mike Petraglia.

The 43-year-old coach welcomed that they are entering their bye week before facing the Baltimore Ravens in Week 7.

“I know these guys are worn out. We've had some down-to-the-wire games the last three weeks. I know how hot this one was today. So the bye week comes at a great time for us. To be 3-2, these guys will regroup. We know who we are today,” added Taylor.

Aside from Burrow, Jordan Battle was also a bright spot against the Dolphins, tallying two interceptions and seven tackles.

The Bengals' bye week should also bode well for injured players such as Kyle Dugger, Colbie Young, and Swayze Bozeman.
