CINCINNATI -- Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a concussion.

Chase went down in the second quarter and did not return. Following a catch, Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones dragged Chase down by his face mask, which drew a penalty. On his way to the turf at Paycor Stadium, Chase also took another hit. He laid flat on his back for several seconds before eventually leaving the field and then eventually going into the locker room.

Chase has not missed a game because of injury since 2023, when he was out for a Week 15 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a shoulder injury. He is a two-time All-Pro selection and been a Pro Bowler in each of his five NFL seasons.

Before the injury on Sunday, he had three catches for 27 yards.
