During the Cincinnati Bengals' 43-36 overtime victory over the Tennessee Titans, star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase visibly showed his frustration on the sideline. However, his quarterback, Joe Burrow, understands where those emotions are coming from and is willing to take responsibility for improving their connection on the field.

At the postgame press conference, Burrow addressed Chase's visible frustration and explained that he actually appreciates seeing that level of emotion from his star receiver, as it pushes him to examine his own performance and find ways to get Chase more involved.

“I like when he gets emotional like that,” Burrow said. “It usually means I need to do a better job of throwing him the ball.”

Head coach Zac Taylor also shared his thoughts on Chase's sideline reaction, saying that he does not mind the receiver expressing his emotions.

“He can be mad at me, he can be mad at whoever,” Taylor said. “I trust him to go out there and do his job. I kind of like it to be honest with you.”

Chase eventually channeled his frustration into an impressive performance, finishing the game with 11 receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown. He also came up with two crucial catches during Cincinnati's overtime possession.
