On Sunday morning, the Cincinnati Bengals improved their record to 6-2 on the 2026 NFL season with a blowout 34-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Madrid. Quarterback Joe Burrow was excellent in this game, completing 24 of his 29 pass attempts for 271 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

Now, Burrow was revealed where he would like to venture for the next Bengals international game.

“Joe Burrow said he's really like to play in Tokyo if the NFL eventually takes a game there,” reported NFL insider Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Inquirer on X, formerly Twitter.

The NFL hasn't expanded its reach to Japan just yet, but it's not hard to envision the league doing so, given how quickly it has implemented international games in other countries over the last few years, with Paris, London, Rio, and more getting in on the action.

For now, the Bengals will have to settle for their win in Madrid, in which they overcame a relatively sluggish start and found their footing, with Burrow continuing to cement himself as a legit MVP candidate this season with his performance. Meanwhile, wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase had another solid game in this one, as has the Bengals' defense, which appears to be back on track after a brief rough patch earlier this year.

Cincinnati now sits in a tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers for first place in the AFC North, having reeled off four straight wins after a 2-2 start to the season. They will next hit the field for a crucial matchup against the Steelers next Sunday at home in primetime.
