On Monday evening, the Chicago Bears continued their strong season with a dominant road win over the Seattle Seahawks. The win inched the Bears closer to claiming first place in the NFC North, where they currently trail the Minnesota Vikings by one game.

After the win, the Bears' Super Bowl odds on BetOnline took a jump, as Chicago now sits at +750 to win this year's big game, good for third in the league behind only the Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Bears just defeated both of last year's Super Bowl participants, the Seahawks and the New England Patriots, in consecutive weeks, looking convincing in both contests.

Monday evening marked the Chicago debut of pass rusher Jeffery Simmons, who was acquired by the Bears last week in a deal with the Tennessee Titans that saw Chicago part ways with multiple future first-round picks. Simmons wasted no time making his impact felt on Monday night, recording a sack on his first play from scrimmage and largely dominating the Seahawks' offensive line throughout the evening.

It's also not off the table that the Chicago brass could look to make even more moves ahead of the trade deadline in order to shore up the few weaknesses on their roster.

In any case, the Bears will next hit the field on Sunday afternoon for a home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
