The Chicago Bears have won three straight games, scoring 30 or more points in each of those victories. Here is the scary thing, though. Ben Johnson's offense is operating well below its peak, at least on the ground. Although running back D'Andre Swift has six rushing touchdowns during the current winning streak, he averaged less than 3.0 yards per carry twice in the same span. Few veteran RBs can carry a backfield against physical defenses for an extend period of time. Fortunately, help is coming.

Kyle Monangai returned to practice in limited fashion on Friday, making him questionable for Sunday night's prime-time collision with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per The 33rd team's Ari Meirov. The 2025 seventh-round draft pick has not played since Oct. 4 due to toe and thumb injuries.

Even if Monangai cannot take the field in Week 9, it is deeply encouraging to see him clear this roadblock. The 5-foot-8, 207-pounder boasts 324 rushing yards and three TDs in four games played, averaging an excellent 5.4 yards per attempt.
