The Los Angeles Lakers are back at training camp, and the brotherhood is even stronger than it was before. That could specifically go for Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, who continue to grow a bond and are set to be the top two options for the Lakers this season. There's no doubt that they enjoy playing with each other, and it's probably their friendship off the court that makes things seamless.

They're always joking with each other, and this latest interview from Reaves says it all. As Reaves was speaking about another player during media availability, he couldn't help but say something about Doncic, who was making half-court shots across the court from him.

“Luka’s made 5 f—–g half court shots in the last 30 seconds. And he just made another one, I hate him,” Reaves said.

Austin Reaves was too distracted watching Luka during his interview and accidentally cursed in front of media because of it 😂

“Luka’s made 5 f*cking half court shots in the last 30 seconds. And he just made another one, I hate him.”

Of course, it's not real hate, and it's all love from both sides. That moment just goes to show how ridiculous Doncic can be, even in practice.

The Lakers brought in a lot of new faces this offseason, and it seems like they're also bonding well. As for on the court, head coach JJ Redick expects the team to be focused and competitive this season, and he's already instilled three things that he wants to see from the team in training camp.

“I have three goals for camp, and it’s to continue to establish our defensive principles, continue to establish our early offense, which has been our main priority for all of September, and then last, just getting in great shape,” Redick said via David Yapkowitz of ClutchPoints. “We’ve gotten terrific buy-in for the last several weeks, and today was very additive to those three things.”

If the Lakers can continue to build on their good habits in training camp, that will be good for them heading into the regular season.
