After months of waiting, we finally have a confirmed date and location for the Anthony Joshua vs. Tyson Fury fight. The much-awaited “Battle of the Britain” fight is finally here. The two heavyweights are now set to clash on Dec. 11, 2026, at the 78,000-seat Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
The fight has been a topic of debate between UFC President Dana White and Matchroom's Eddie Hearn for many months due to the match's location. While Dana White wanted the fight to take place in the United States due to financial reasons, Hearn and Joshua wanted it to take place in the UK.
Despite two losses to Oleksandr Usyk and a brief retirement, Fury came back with two solid wins over Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach. Fury (36-2-1) will now enter the ring for the first time against Joshua. Joshua will enter the fight with a record of 30-4, having scored his last two victories over Kristian Prenga and Jake Paul.
Previously rumored to take place in Nov. 2026 and at the Madison Square Garden, the fight has now been moved to Dec. 11, 2026 and at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. The Joshua vs. Fury fight will also be streamed live on Netflix. The streaming giant shared the announcement on its social media and confirmed the fight. “Enough talk. Time to fight,” Netflix wrote.
