The Atlanta Dream took care of business in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals. Atlanta defeated Golden State 79-65 on Tuesday night, bringing the series back to one game a piece. The Dream leaned heavily on their best player, and she delivered a huge performance to get the win.

Dream forward Angel Reese was extremely excited after tying up the series on Monday night. She made a bold declaration after the game that should have Dream fans excited.

“We ain’t f—ing around,” Reese said on Monday, per The Athletic's Brian Hamilton.

This comes after Reese was incredibly hard on herself after letting Game 1 slip away. She was clearly on a mission to right those wrongs in Game 2.

“I think I let the team down, and that was on me,” Reese said after Game 1. “I wasn’t aggressive enough.”

Reese did just that. The reigning Defensive Player of the Year absolutely took over, scoring 30 points with 16 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two blocks. She scored more points than anyone else on the court, for either team, by a wide margin.

According to point guard Jordin Canada, Reese showed an incredible sense of urgency at times in Game 2. It was clear that she was the most motivated player on the entire court.

“At one point, she was like, ‘I need the ball! I need the ball!’” Canada said. “We gave her the ball. And she went to work.”

It will be exciting to see if Atlanta can take control of this series over the next two games.

Game 3 of the WNBA Finals tips off at 8 p.m. ET on Oct. 21st from State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
