The Denver Broncos recently got off to an ugly start to their 2026 season with a tough blowout road loss at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos were uncompetitive in this game from the jump, and the defense was largely eviscerated by the Kansas City running game throughout the evening.

One of the culprits was linebacker Alex Singleton, who was among the many Broncos players to have a rough Week 1, although he does have the support of his agent Paul Sheehy, who recently took to social media to blast his client's critics.

“The level of sheer ignorance of Broncos bloggers and self proclaimed ‘journalists' continues to amaze and has never been higher. I get it, rage baiting a passionate fan base gets clicks, but it doesn't take away from the ignorance or incompetence on display,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Fans in the comment section were quick to hit back at the remarks.

“You’re right man the real miracle worker is you because I don’t know how you convinced us to give your garbage a** client an extension. You’re only saying something now cause you’ve done your job,” wrote one fan.

“Alex Singleton has quite literally been the weakest link on our defense the last three years. Before you come out and defend him maybe he should do his own defending…” wrote another.

While these two sides might not see eye-to-eye on how things went down on Monday, everyone can agree that the Broncos need to be a lot better if they are going to repeat as the number one seed in the AFC this year.

Denver will next hit the field on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars at 4:05 pm ET.
