Las Vegas Aces superstar A'ja Wilson will be thrilled to go back home and play Game 3 of her team's opening-round playoff series against the Indiana Fever inside the Michelob ULTRA Arena. She did not enjoy herself in Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Tuesday night. The expected five-time MVP received a technical foul with approximately four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter following an exchange with a fan. The lead official explained why after the contest.

Crew Chief Randy Richardson told pool reporter Chloe Peterson that Wilson's tech was for unsportsmanlike conduct, per Khristina Williams. The male fan got up from his seat and proceeded to point at the Aces forward after she was called for a foul on Sophie Cunningham. A displeased Wilson made her way in his direction and yelled at him. The Fever deemed that the individual did not violate any rules and allowed him to stay in the building.

Given her elite status and fiery personality, Wilson will inevitably draw jeers and reactions from opposing crowds. Some fans will do everything in their power to throw a player off balance. Based on what has been revealed, it does not appear that this person said anything vile.

After the 99-89 loss, Wilson stated that she does not take kindly to a man gesturing and “taking steps towards her.” The fan in question did move forward, but he was well behind the out of bounds lines. A woman in the next seat pulled him back, perhaps in an attempt to diffuse the situation. A'ja Wilson was already fuming, though.

The two-time Finals MVP apologized to her team for drawing the technical foul, but she still believes the man's actions were unacceptable. Nevertheless, the Aces have to focus on a decisive Game 3 showdown in Vegas, which will be played Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET.

Wilson, who posted 22 points, nine rebounds and three steals in Game 2, will look to unleash her frustrations on the Fever.
