The Los Angeles Dodgers' three-peat pursuit heads under a baseball tombstone. Not even a Shohei Ohtani home run rip kept LA's hopes alive. The Milwaukee Brewers buried the Dodgers' World Series hopes with a clutch 6-4 victory Thursday to sweep the NLCS.

Wednesday's Game 3 loss saw Freddie Freeman, Blake Snell and manager Dave Roberts earn the most blame. But that number grows to five as the Brewers advance to their first World Series since 1982.

Here are the new Dodgers to blame for this shocking collapse.

Tyler Glasnow

Glasnow stayed on the mound when his Dodgers jumped to a 4-0 lead. But he struggled to keep Milwaukee in check at the bat.

And once again, new dodgers thorn Jake Bauers swung the tide back Milwaukee's way. He smashed into Glasnow's knuckleball curve for the ground rule double toward right field, luring William Contreras and Brice Turang home to slice the lead to 4-2.

David Hamilton kept the momentum on the Brewers' side in the fifth, blasting Glasnow's 91 miles per hour slider for the RBI that made it 4-3. But Glasnow allowed four earned runs off three hits. Turns out the right-hander didn't fare much better than Snell, as Glasnow also looked like he hit arm fatigue by staying past four innings.

Tanner Scott

The reliever Scott had it worse from there once he stepped in.

Scott watched the 4-4 tie evaporate thanks to Garrett Mitchell. His 97 mph fastball wasn't even enough to keep Mitchell in check, blasting the solo home run 409 feet to place the Brewers ahead for good.

Scott took the loss on the evening.

Freddie Freeman

Fans now will enter the offseason wondering if father time has arrived for Freeman.

The iconic Dodgers star looked nothing like the past beloved power hitter from the consecutive World Series run. Wednesday watched Freeman go 0-for-4 at the bat. But the first baseman went 0-for-3 this time, featuring one strikeout.

And Freeman's final NLCS numbers rise as forgettable for Dodger blue: 14 at-bat attempts, but just one hit.

Max Muncy

Muncy likely just created a new popular gif or meme.

He threw down his bat in disgust after taking this strike to close the bottom of the sixth.

But he hits blame for one more profound reason: He struck out twice in the crucial Game 4, including in that moment. But it gets worse from there for Muncy.

He walked to the bat earning a strong chance to re-tie the game. But instead will become remembered for the bat throwdown after striking out.

Dave Roberts

We can't leave without calling out the Dodgers' skipper, as this loss and sweep falls directly on his own shoulders.

Game 3 saw Roberts keep Snell way longer than expected, and that backfired in the end. He pulled Glasnow a little earlier, but fans will call him out for another reason.

Roberts actually had a chance to insert top ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Tarik Skubal in reliever duty. Especially during an elimination game. Clearly, his reliever rotation didn't cut it on this evening.

Once again the Roberts critics have reignited.
