49ers left tackle Trent Williams returned to practice Thursday.
It was a welcome sight for a team with seven other key players on its injury report.
Williams (neck) had limited participation after missing Wednesday’s practice.
His return to practice was the only change to the team’s injury report.
Defensive end Nick Bosa (knee/calf), wide receiver Mike Evans (ribs), linebacker Dre Greenlaw (quad), defensive tackle James Thompson (ankle) and defensive end Keion White (hamstring) did not practice for a second consecutive day.
Defensive ends Romello Height (hand) and Mykel Williams (knee) were limited participants. Williams is in his 21-day return-to-practice window as he works his way back after starting the season on reserve/PUP.
