Both the NFL and college football seasons are well underway now, and we are starting to get more information about players and teams. We are seeing which college players are stepping up and which ones are hurting their draft stock. We’re also getting a clearer picture of what NFL teams need to improve in the future. So, with that, it’s time for another 2027 NFL Mock Draft.

For the draft order, we are using ESPN’s 2027 NFL Draft order prediction model.
1. Miami Dolphins: QB Arch Manning, Texas
Last pick: QB Arch Manning, Texas
Arch Manning still looks like a work in progress, but there have also been some more flashes of brilliance, like the comeback win over Ohio State. Ultimately, no matter who gets the No. 1 pick, the Manning name will likely be too much to pass up, so we still have Arch at No. 1 to the Dolphins.
2. Tennessee Titans: WR Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State
Last pick: OT Trevor Goosby, Texas
Is it too early to pull the plug on Cam Ward? We’ll know more as the season goes along, but right now, assuming he gets at least one more year, it makes sense for the Titans to take a weapon that will help Ward succeed and take the best overall player in the 2027 NFL Draft, Jeremiah Smith.
3. New York Giants: CB Leonard Moore, Notre Dame
Last pick: OT Jordan Seaton, LSU
Now with two young QBs in the fold, the Giants can also pass on a signal-caller and take an elite defensive player. Leonard Moore is a near-perfect modern cover corner, and with the Giants' pass rush potential once everyone gets healthy again, having a shutdown CB in the secondary will be a big help.
4. Arizona Cardinals: QB Darian Mensah, Miami
Last pick: QB Dante Moore, Oregon
Right now, the top QB prospects are still pretty interchangeable at the top, and likely will be all the way to the combine. This class is reminiscent of 2018, when beauty was in the eye of the beholder when it came to Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, and Lamar Jackson.
Darian Mensah has looked incredible so far this season, but his weak schedule is doing him no favors when it comes to his draft position. For now, he is QB2 in this 2027 NFL Mock Draft, but that could change dramatically on November 7, when the Hurricanes take on Moore and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
5. Los Angeles Chargers: EDGE Colin Simmons, Texas
Last pick: OL Carter Smith, Indiana
“Simulating using the restroom” was now a good look for Colin Simmons, but 5.0 sacks against Tennessee allowed scouts to overlook that. Between the Texas pass rusher’s performance in that game and Dylan Stewart’s meltdown against Alabama, Simmons has cemented his spot as the first EDGE off the board.
6. Atlanta Falcons: OT Trevor Goosby, Texas
Last pick: QB Darian Mensah, Miami
Another interesting battle is shaping up for the first offensive tackle off the board. LSU’s Jordan Seaton is an incredible player, but you simply can’t teach 6-foot-7, 325 pounds with elite athleticism. That gives Tyler Goosby the edge here, and he will be a perfect long-term replacement for Jake Matthews.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: QB Drew Mestemaker, Oklahoma State
Last pick: DL A.J. Holmes Jr., Texas Tech
Drew Mestemaker struggled in his first game as a Power 5 signal-caller with a loss to Tulsa. However, he has since pulled off an upset over Oregon and a convincing win over West Virginia. If his transition from North Texas to Oklahoma State continues to go well, it’s safe to reason that his move from college to the pros will also be smooth.
8. New York Jets: QB Trinidad Chambliss, Ole Miss
Last pick: QB Julian Sayin, Ohio State
We’ve seen 6-foot or smaller QBs struggle in the NFL this year (Kyler Murray, Baker Mayfield, Bryce Young), but you can’t completely write off Trinidad Chambliss due to size. He’s played excellent football this year so far, even in the loss to Florida, so some team will take a chance on him with a top-10 pick.
9. Cleveland Browns: QB Dante Moore, Oregon
Last pick: QB Drew Mestemaker, Oklahoma State
As long as Dante Moore comes all the way back from his concussion after the incredibly dirty hit in the USC game, he should still be a top-10 selection in the 2027 NFL Draft. His size, skill, and athleticism are just too much to ignore, even though he’s had a rough season thus far, even before the headshot.
10. Carolina Panthers: TE Trey'Dez Green, LSU
Last pick: EDGE Dylan Stewart, South Carolina
Trey’Dez Green likely won’t be back from injury until November, but in his early games with LSU, the 6-foot-7 tight end showed that he is a wholly unique weapon that could revolutionize an offense at the next level. Leg injuries could be a long-term factor at that size in this sport, but if he can stay healthy, he should be a high pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
11. Dallas Cowboys (via Packers): CB Ashton Hampton. Clemson
Last pick: CB Kelley Jones, Mississippi State
Ashton Hampton has been one of the big risers in the early days of the 2026 college football season. The Clemson corner has been a lockdown player after ascending to the CB1 role this year, and his 6-foot-2 size and overall coverage ability puts him in contention to be the second corner off the board in this 2027 NFL Mock Draft.
12. Houston Texans: WR Cam Coleman, Texas
Last pick: WR Charlie Becker, Indiana
The Texans desperately need a WR1 to finally find out if CJ Stroud is a true NFL starting quarterback. Cam Coleman gets the slight nod here over Charlie Becker because he is slightly more dynamic and may have a higher ceiling, but if Becker keeps playing the way he is playing for Indiana, these players could easily swap here.
13. Washington Commanders: EDGE Dylan Stewart, South Carolina
Last pick: EDGE Matayo Uiagalelei, Oregon
Dylan Stewart has all the physical traits to be an All-Pro edge rusher at the next level. After his complete meltdown against Alabama, though, there are tons of questions about his character. While the South Carolina defender has the talent to be a top-10 pick, he will fall a bit because of his antics. Still, the size and skills are too hard to ignore, and he will still go in the top half of Round 1.
14. New York Jets (via Colts): DT Will Echoles, Ole Miss
Last pick: WR Cam Coleman, Texas
This is a strong defensive tackle class, with Will Echoles, David Stone, A'Mauri Washington, and Justin Scott all worthy of high-end picks. Echoles gets the nod right now because of his pass-rush ability and how he gave the LSU offensive line fits.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers: WR Charlie Becker, Indiana
Last pick: CB Leonard Moore, Notre Dame
The Steelers could go QB here, but with Will Howard and Drew Allar waiting in the wings, they will likely give those guys a shot first. Allar would be the favorite to win the job next season, and if he does, having a highly productive pass-catcher like Becker will give him the best shot at succeeding.
16. New England Patriots: OT Jordan Seaton, LSU
Last pick: EDGE Damon Wilson II, Miami
The Patriots are a mess from top to bottom right now, and it starts with Drake Maye. His near-MVP season last year bought him some time, but the clock may now be ticking. Surrounding him with the best protection possible may be the best place to build around him, and the way this 2027 NFL Mock Draft falls, Jordan Seaton would be a steal here.
17. Las Vegas Raiders: DL David Stone, Oklahoma
Last pick: WR Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State
For the first time in a long time, the Raiders can just sit at their spot in the middle of the draft and take the best player available without reaching for any glaring needs. In this case, David Stone would be a difference-maker in the middle of the defensive line and help Maxx Crosby out a lot.
18. New Orleans Saints: CB Ellis Robinson IV, Georgia
Last pick: EDGE Colin Simmons, Texas
The Saints' defense needs help, so they are another team that can take whoever is the best defensive player on the board at this spot. Ellis Robinson IV is an excellent corner with ball skills, good tackling, and nice size. He may not be a shutdown man-to-man guy, but in Brandon Staley’s matchup zone scheme, he would be a perfect fit opposite Kool-Aid McKinstry.
19. Chicago Bears: DL A'Mauri Washington, Oregon
Last pick: OL Cayden Green, Missouri
The 6-foot-3, 325-pound A’Mauri Washington is arguably the best run-stuffer in this class, and that is something the Bears desperately need. That Chicago defense has been incredibly shaky through three weeks, and getting an anchor on the interior defensive line would be a nice rebuilding step.
20. Denver Broncos: TE Jamari Johnson, Oregon
Last pick: TE Trey'Dez Green, LSU
While Green is the high-risk-high-reward tight end prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, Jamari Johnson is the best tight end right now. He has everything you want in a TE receiving threat, and, with his size, has upside as a blocker. With more teams going to multi-tight end formations, Johnson would give Sean Payton, Davis Webb, and Bo Nix even more optionality.
21. New York Jets (via Cowboys): S KJ Bolden, Georgia
Last pick: DL David Stone, Oklahoma
The Jets have a pretty solid offense in place and are really just in need of a new quarterback. So, with that in place, the team can use their second and third first-round picks on defense. Safety KJ Bolden is a do-it-all player and the definition of a modern safety who can boost the Jets’ D.
22. Cleveland Browns (via Rams): DT Justin Scott, Miami
Last pick: EDGE Anthony Smith, Minnesota
The last of four first-round DTs, Justin Scott would be an excellent partner next to Masdon Graham in the middle of the Browns’ defensive line. They may prefer an edge rusher here, but Scott provides more value than the next-best pure pass rusher here in this 2027 NFL Mock Draft.
23. Philadelphia Eagles: OT Trevor Lauck, Iowa
Last pick: OT PJ Williams, SMU
After paying its young defensive stars, it is time for Howie Roseman and the Eagles to start rebuilding the offense with young, cheap talent. Lane Johnson and, eventually, Jordan Mailata will need to be replaced, and Trevor Lauk is that long-range successor who can probably also play on the inside in the short or even long term.
24. Minnesota Vikings: QB CJ Carr, Notre Dame
Last pick: CB Ellis Robinson IV, Georgia
JJ McCarthy is now gone, and Kyler Murray doesn’t seem like the long-term answer at quarterback either. In CJ Carr, Kevn O’Connell can finally get a QB in the Kirk Cousins, Daniel Jones mold that he has had so much success with and forget trying to change a duel-threat-style signal-caller.
25. Cincinnati Bengals: CB Kelley Jones, Mississippi State
Last pick: S KJ Bolden, Georgia
The Bengals’ defense has looked better through three games, but there is still work to do. Cincinnati loves big, physical, traits-y players, and Kelley Jones fits that mold. The 6-foot-4 CB will match up incredibly well with the NFL’s biggest wideouts and help the Bengals’ D get that much better.
26. Detroit Lions: OG Kade Pieper, Iowa
Last pick: QB CJ Carr, Notre Dame
Since Frank Ragnow retired unexpectedly, the Lions have struggled to cement the interior of their offensive line. The team has not been able to fill guard and center positions for the last two seasons, so why not pick Iowa lineman Kade Pieper, who is likely the best pure guard and center in this year’s draft?
27. Seattle Seahawks: EDGE Yhonzae Pierre, Alabama
Last pick: EDGE John Henry Daley, Michigan
Yhonzae Pierre is climbing up draft boards with solid outings in each of the first four games and 1.5 sacks so far. If he can up that production as the SEC schedule continues, he will secure a first-round grade.
28. Baltimore Ravens: LB Sammy Brown, Clemson
Last pick: LB Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, Notre Dame
The Ravens don’t care about positional value, which is why they always seem to have excellent players at key positions like center, tight end, safety, and yes, off-ball inside linebacker. In this draft, Sammy Brown is the best sideline-to-sideline tackling machine. He is often compared to Roquan Smith, so on the Ravens, he’d be a perfect replacement for (checks notes) Roquan Smith.
29. Jacksonville Jaguars: RB Jadan Baugh, Florida
Last pick: WR Ryan Coleman-Williams, Alabama
The Jaguars are a team smartly built in the trenches around franchise QB Trevor Lawrence. However, it is now time to provide the signal-caller with more weapons. It looks like the Jags have found a WR1 in Parker Wadshington, so now it is time to bulk up the run game with Florida’s 6-foot-1, 225-pound battering ram, Jadan Baugh.
27. Kansas City Chiefs: WR Ryan Coleman-Williams, Alabama
Last pick: OT Trevor Lauck, Iowa
If there were a Travis Kelce replacement on the board here, that would be the Chiefs’ dream. As it is, there is a WR who is better than anything KC has, outside of Rashee Rice. Ryan Coleman-Williams has speed and route-running chops, so he’d be a good fit with Patrick Mahomes.
31. Buffalo Bills: EDGE Matayo Uiagalelei, Oregon
Last pick: WR Nick Marsh, Indiana
In another 2027 NFL Mock Draft pick where the comp replaces the player they are compared to, how about the Bills swapping Bradley Chubb for Matayo Uiagalelei, who has a lot of Chubb’s skill set? Uiagalelei, opposite the re-energized Gregory Rousseau and next to Deone Walker and Ed Oliver, is a scary thought for opposing offenses.
32. San Francisco 49ers: WR Nick Marsh, Indiana
Last pick: TE Jamari Johnson, Oregon
With the 49ers’ MASH unit of wide receivers, getting a stout pass-catching threat makes sense to help out Brock Purdy. Nick Marsh is 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, and has the potential to be a Mike Evans-type player in the league, but hopefully one who can stay healthy, even next to the substation.
